This exotic- sounding track transitions into “Open Up”, where Gallant displays his skilled vocal talents. The easy- going and sexy beat compliments the high notes presented in this song, as well as many others on the album, such as the second track, “Talking to Myself”. A personal favorite is “Bourbon”, Track 4, with the smooth beat and soft vocal tones. Definitely consider taking a listen to “Skipping Stones”, a catchy duet between Gallant and Jhené Aiko, where amazing high notes are hit by this upcoming artist.
The music speaks to audiences through the melody. Considering Gallant is known as not only a singer, but songwriter as well, the music is raw.
